I used to work for this makeup company in my very early 20’s back then I wore the concealing formula, now in my mid 30’s I decided to try the Dewey formula and absolutely love it! My skin looks beautiful and I love how easy it is to mix shades depending on my skin tone in different seasons. Best part is how good this make up is for your actual skin,no guilt about forgetting to remove makeup at night because you won’t wake up broken out. This is the best product I have tried and I am so happy I came back to this brand. Highly recommend,I find using my fingers is the prettiest way to apply. Don’t be afraid to mix and match shades and formulas.Best foundation formula. I mix mine with natural mineral sunscreen so it blends into my skin well & the formula is beautiful & natural looking on my skin. My husband sometimes can’t even tell I’m wearing anything. I like the thickness & spreadability better when I mix it with my sunscreen. I’ve mixed it with oil free derma e & tizo sunscreen, but have found the juice beauty oil free one just blends a lot better & doesn’t break me out like the derma e did. It’s almost like you’re making your own B.B. cream. I have super sensitive acne prone skin, and bc this foundation has so few ingredients, this is the only brand that doesn’t break me out. Yay!!After I apply that mixture I’ll go back in and dab the foundation by itself on a spot, using my finger or qtip, if I have a blemish that week. Works wonders as a concealer and foundation. I am a customer for life!! I hope they always carry this on amazon. I’ve noticed the tubes I buy online tend to be more fresh than the ones I’ve bought at my local beauty supply store, so for that reason I’ll stick with amazon.Good coverage, dewy finish. Order a shade lighter than usual.I love this makeup. I have reordered it countless times and have been using it for over a year. The coverage is good, better than most bb creams or tinted moisturizers and covers blemishes and unevenness well. It's easy to apply (I use my fingers) and feels moisturizing and good for my skin. With other makeup I often get dry patches and other places where it quickly runs off, not this! It even looks fine after the gym. This is my everyday go to couldn't live without it makeup.Shades - I am very fair and typically the lightest shade in most other makeups, however the porcelain works best for me year round as the alabaster is very light. I do love that the shades are pretty neutral and not overly pink, a frequent issue I'm lighter shades. In the winter I do mix the porcelain and alabaster shades to customize to my skinTHis is the only mineral makeup that didn't make your skin dry out and accentuate one's wrinkles because they use glycerin to moisturize. I had an older one and noticed it separated a little but you just have to squeeze it around and mix it up some. I called the company and they verified the above. SInce I found out it was glycerine, I always have it around so I mixed it with even MORE vegetable glycerin...about almost 50/50 actually just to make sure it doesn't accentuate my wrinkles because mineral makeup has SUCH A TENDENCY TO DO THAT! It could make some areas look like a PRUNE! It seemed to do the trick. However the reviewer is correct. You may sometimes have blotchy areas if you don't apply correctly on your face the first time. So it does take a little bit more time to apply. I'm just glad it doesn't have any parabens! Its very water resistant, smudge-proof also. So if you have darker areas good luck trying to smooth it out?! UPDATE: Just called the company again about the pores being clogged. You have to have really large pores for it to clog he said. I have large pores but it doesn't seem to clog mine. ALSO I DISCOVERED I BOUGHT THE WRONG finish before! I have the MATTE RIGHT NOW! Good thing I KNOW TO MIX IT w/the VEG GLYCERIN!! Sheesh! Cosmetic Cop Paula has a nice makeup but its got parabens in it!I’ve used this make up for several years now and I love it because it doesn’t come off on my clothes and it lasts all day and I always look fresh. It looks really natural on my dry aging skin. It doesnt oxidize and lasted all day. Its a total win!almost every conventional foundation contains known as in known to the medical community break-out triggers (why?!) if you wear makeup on your face and have acne you likely have acne cosmetica. Mineral makeup is best for acne-prone skin but unfortunately, most brands include things like oils, bismuth, algae etc that are natural but really bad for acneic skin. This is the purest mineral foundation I could find and furthermore one of maybe like 3 foundations on the market that don't break me out.I use several colours of this for foundation, concealer and contour. it has great staying power if set properly and the finish is just natural not matte and not greasy. Pricey but very concentrated so worth it. Just wish they have a bigger shade range as it's kinda a pain mixing the colours up in the morningNice make up for sure but do not depend on a color match!!!
